About Nick Stanley
Since moving to Aledo to raise his growing family, Nick Stanley has become an involved member of our community having served on City Council, Planning and Zoning as well as our Economic Development Council.
Nick Stanley is a business, government, community and public affairs professional. He serves as the Vice President of Business Development & Government Affairs for Rehab Warriors of America, a tech-enabled veteran vocational institute committed to training and deploying America’s veterans to rebuild distressed communities across the nation. After graduating from Texas Tech University, Nick has spent over ten years building a successful career as a Professional Landman and Right-of-Way Agent providing land and right-of-way services to oil and gas companies throughout Texas. Nick is also a Partner with the One86 Group, a solar farm investment company, helping landowners capitalize on their solar assets.
In addition to his work in the private sector, Nick previously held a position in the U.S. House of Representatives working for Congresswoman Kay Granger in the 12th U.S. Congressional District of Texas. As Outreach Director, he established a strong network and partnership with community leaders, elected officials, non-profits, and other stakeholders. As a passionate, impact-driven leader, he was influential in several key areas, such as veterans’ affairs, school safety initiatives, anti-human trafficking, homelessness, and child and elder abuse.
Nick’s compassion and dedication for serving others continues in his role with Rehab Warriors as well as his involvement on non-profit boards, including the Aledo Education Foundation and as VP of Development on the Executive Board at Alliance For Children. As an active member of his community, he serves on the Aledo Economic Development Council and is serving his first term on the City Council having been elected May of 2021. Nick and his wife, Courtney, have three children, Nolan, Reagan and Stella Kate.
