About Nick Stanley
Mayor Nick Stanley is currently serving in his first term, having been elected in May of 2022. Nick is a graduate of Texas Tech University, a native of Arlington, Texas, and a proud husband to his wife, Courtney, and father to their three beautiful children, Nolan, Reagan, and Stella Kate.

Nick Stanley is a business, government, community, and public affairs professional. As a successful entrepreneur and experienced landman, Nick is Co-Founder and Managing Member of Bluejack Resources, LLC, a Texas-based land services company that is committed to deploying America’s most qualified and experienced landmen throughout the country to provide essential services to their clients in the oil, gas, and renewables industries. As President, Nick is responsible for overseeing Bluejack’s overall strategy and business operations. His leadership extends to client relations, overseeing the company’s production, and leading business development efforts, ensuring the long-term success and growth of the company.
Nick previously held a position in the U.S. House of Representatives in the 12th U.S. Congressional District where, under the leadership of Congresswoman Kay Granger, he established a strong network and partnership with community leaders, elected officials, non-profits, and other stakeholders, affecting positive change in several key areas, such as veterans’ affairs, school safety initiatives, anti-human trafficking, homelessness, and child and elder abuse.
Beyond his professional achievements, Nick is deeply committed to his community. He serves as the Mayor of Aledo, Texas, and is also the President of the Aledo Economic Development Council, where he plays a pivotal role in fostering the growth and development of his local area. Through these efforts, Nick combines his business expertise with his passion for public service to drive positive change in his community.
